Trekking Experience in Borneo Rainforest - Brunei

Duration: 4 days, 3 nights | Transportation: 4-Star Airline - Royal Brunei Airlines

Departure dates: Thursday - 28 NOVEMBER 2024 or 26 DECEMBER 2024

• The guide will meet you at Tan Son Nhat International Airport to assist with check-in for your Royal Brunei flight to Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. 
• After arriving, a local guide will greet and take the group for dinner. 
• The group will then travel 80 km to Temburong, crossing the longest sea bridge in Southeast Asia (30 km). 
• Upon arrival at Freme Rainforest Lodge, prepare for the next day’s trekking adventure and rest.

DAY 02: ULU TEMBURONG (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• Have breakfast at the Lodge and check your luggage again
• Get briefed on safety rules and precautions when trekking in the Borneo jungle by the local guides
• Transfer by canoe to the starting point of the trek
• Trekking about 5km through one of the oldest primeval forests on earth
• Take a nap by the stream, find ingredients for lunch in the old forest
• Go fishing with the local guides
• Let yourself fall into the cool stream, relax after a day of trekking
• Set up camp by the stream
• Collect the fishing line, cook dinner
• Have dinner by the flickering fire
• End the evening with a glass of fragrant sticky rice wine cooked by the hands of the local people

DAY 03: BORNEO RAINFOREST (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• Have breakfast under the early morning sunlight shining down on the forest
• Trekking about 10km further out, on the way you will experience fishing. You may encounter crabs, stream eels, stream fish, etc.
• Have lunch in the forest with the harvested ingredients
• Continue trekking to Apan waterfall, motorboat picks up the group
• Move to the entrance of Seruyu 4-tier waterfall, hike another 4km to the foot of the waterfall, camp next to the majestic waterfall
• Prepare dinner with local guides
• Have dinner, listen to stories about the Borneo forest, about the indigenous Iban people.

DAY 04: ULU TEMBURONG – BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – HO CHI MINH CITY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/SNACK ON THE PLANE)

• Breakfast
• Visit the Canopy cable-stayed bridge, Canopy tower
• Return to the lodge, shower
• Experience “blowpipe” – a traditional hunting weapon of the Iban people – one of the ancient hosts of the Borneo forest
• Check-out, have lunch at the lodge
• Move to the center of Begawan
• Move to visit the floating village of Kampong Ayer – the largest floating village in the world with more than 30,000 residents living here
• 16:00 – Move to BWN international airport, check in
• Check out at Tan Son Nhat airport, end of the experience journey. See you again in the upcoming programs

• Passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the departure date.
• Children under 15 must be accompanied by parents or authorized guardians with written consent.
• The company is not responsible for entry denial to Brunei due to personal reasons, and no refunds will be given.
