Tropical Trekking - Gold Award of "Championing Cultural Diversity" section
The "Gold Award" in the Championing Cultural Diversity category, received by Tropical Trekking, is a recognition of our efforts in preserving and promoting the rich cultural diversity of the ethnic minorities in Vietnam's Central Highlands. We focus not only on delivering unique trekking experiences but also on helping visitors gain a deeper understanding of the culture, traditions, and daily life of the local communities.
By integrating village tours, cultural experiences, and folk art into our trekking activities, we have created a sustainable tourism model where visitors can explore the pristine nature while also learning about and contributing to the preservation of invaluable cultural values.
The Significance of the Award and Future Direction
This award is not only a source of pride for Tropical Trekking but also serves as a motivation for us to continue our efforts in developing responsible tourism. In the future, we will expand our cultural preservation activities, increase local community involvement, and promote sustainable tourism.
Mr. Le Pham Minh Dao, CEO of Tropical Trekking, shared insights on the model of trekking tourism associated with the indigenous K'Ho culture at the recent International Conference on Responsible Tourism in Hospitality (ICRTH2024) in Malaysia:

The Vietnam delegation received two awards: Championing Cultural Diversity (Gold Award) - Tropical Trekking and Nature Positive Tourism (Silver Award) - Vuong Thanh Cong.
